Battery Storage

The percentage capacity shows how much or the battery’s capacity will be remaining at the end of the warranty period. The battery will only be able to store and discharge this amount. The cycle warranty represents how many times you can fully charge and fully discharge the battery (this is one full cycle).

There are many factors we consider when recommending a battery. Generally we will size your solar panels and battery so that you can be as self sufficient as possible and not rely on grid electricity. This means choosing a solar system size that produces slightly more electricity than you use each day and a battery that can store enough to get you through the night. It can be complicated so it’s best to speak to one of our consultants about your personal situation.
